It seems appropriate to join the Classics Club since I am making my way through many classics during my extensive reading journey. This is a wonderful community and a great way to connect with others who share a love of great literature. If you haven't already signed up, please do so immediately! The challenge set forth is to set a personal goal of reading a certain number of classics over a selected period of time. There is no competition to read the most or finish the fastest, you set your own objectives. Taking into account that I tend to procrastinate when it comes to finishing anything, I have chosen 50 "classics" (subject to change) that I will start reading from May 2011 and hope to finish by December 2021. That gives me 10 years. Sounds reasonable right? We'll have to see...
